It certainly beats losing electricity, but we are now facing our first water outage in many years... and our trusty water company, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, is warning us it may take as long as three days to get our service back to normal! Three days without washing dishes... Or flushing the toilet... or taking showers... or doing laundry. Making coffee with bottled water... and living with Mrs. Matthews raising the roof over it! I'm off now to the grocery store to look for bottled water, and plotting to figure out who we can bum a shower off of. It won't be a nearby neighbor, that's for sure... It looks like most of Olney, Gaithersburg and parts of Montgomery County North of the Beltway are affected.Happy Happy Joy Joy!
